Come on get Social

Hello hubzers!

So I was talking to some people today about marketing and how important it is to have an internet presence, and I totally agree. The only problem today is the cost to have a strong presence on the web.

I agree 100% that you HAVE to be on the Internet today if you want to be in business because that is where it all takes place, but there is a right and wrong way to go about it.

Unless you have thousands of dollars for an ad budget then Pay Per Click is probably not your best bet. I spent $3000 to take a course on Google, and it still confuses me because it is constantly changing, and they do not reward the un-educated, the reward the people who figure out how it all works, and their reward? Lower cost per click…

There is too big a learning curve for the “little guy” to even think about being a player.

That is why I have and will always tell people that the best way is to utilize the social networking sites, tied with the old school “face to face” methods. Ya thats right they still work, but take the old “meet and greet” method and start doing it online…and see what happens.

People still want to get to know people, as they should, before the spend money with them. Now of course if you are a store selling a specific product, well you are looking for customers and that is easier to advertise to than when you are looking for “business people” to join your MLM company. I have 2 different ways to attack those as they are completely different, but seeing as how it is my background, I am talking about MLM…

You HAVE to build relationships with people…bottom line and if you do not have or make time to do that, unless you have money to just throw away you will not have much luck in this Industry. You HAVE to be willing to make new friends, but the good news is, with social networking, you can search for people with common interests so you end up working with people whom you have things in common with.

Let me tell you, it is so much more fun to work with people you actually WANT to work with rather than people who you have nothing in common, and who you have to “re-sell” all the time…

So my advice, is to get out there and start building your social networks. Even if you think they are dumb and don’t work, I am living proof that they do…and it is 100% free. The only cost is time.

Don’t make it difficult. It is sooo easy. Talk to people as if they are sitting next to you. Couldn’t you use a couple more friends? Think about this too…you don’t need 100’s who “get it”…you need 5-6 and that is all. If you can get 5 or 6 people who see your company as something they can do, and they do what you did and do the same, the results are staggering and I am not even going to show you it is so amazing…and DOABLE!

I hope this helps! Get out there and get social! =-)

Hi David, thanks for the post. I tried to attend the webinar last night but no chance; is there a way to get its recording. Hope you success!

Hi, Mike and David – pardon my ignorance, but how will hubze differ from ping.fm? Also, what other products/services perform similar coordination of social media functions – and why is/will hubze (be) better?
    Thanks!

  4. David Foster says:

    Hello Shelly,

It is going to do the exact same thing that ping.fm does and much more. Ping.fm is simply a service where you can send updates, however you have to link them back to your twitter or facebook or someplace in order to drive traffic BACK to you. So with hubze those site pings will direct people back to your hubze card. Plus there will be tons of other features that ping or many other sites do not have. Many of them simply involve customization.

So trust in the fact that this IS way different than anything out there, and you will see once we get it launched.

Thanks so much for your comment!

  8. I AM REALLY SURE THAT THIS WILL BE THE BEST WAY TO DO BUSINESS. I AM RIGHT NOW SEARCHING ON MY SOCIAL NETWORK FOR PEOPLE WHOM BE INTERESTED TO JOIN ME WITH HUBZE. AND SOMETHING TELLS ME THAT WHEN I GOT THE RIGHT PEOPLE, WITH SIMILAR INTERESTS LIKE ME, WE ALL TOGETHER WILL HELP TO DO THIS BUSINESS BLOW UP AS NO OTHER SOCIAL NETWORK HAS EVER DONE. THANK YOU.

  9. Hi David.
Elbert here. Can you please give me three promotional differances of yours to betternetworker that i can use to promote you. Not that betternetworker is bad, but i find the information too scattered around and frankly the topics are not suitable for the begining MLM marketer. They act like big hitters over thier. Everyone just wants to sell their this or that training, teaching, mentoring, product, etc… Im realy looking for some co-entrepreneurial business ascociate’s for my web design concepts. I know the value of networking and team building by relational freinships and realize that we were not designed to build our dreams alone. We need other people to complete our goals. I have a heart of gold, in fact everyone thinks im a big ol teddybear, (6′7″ tall 300lbs.) Im huge but am humble. My wife and i share 8 wonderful kids and 29 grandchildren, 12 step grand, and finaly 7 great grand, with more on the way. Yes a grand family indeed, never a dull moment, whats even more amazing than this is that, we all get along. WOW! So now my fellow Hubze’s you know me some and i realy look forward in building the right team here. It looks and feels very promising. My certain web site design is for the music industry, i truely believe it will be beneficial for everyone because everyone loves music. My sons, (two of them and a lifelong friend they grew up with) you see, are very very talented, they have cut thier first cd and have many more songs. The genre is rap, but what im proposing for this website will affect every genre not just rap. Im doing this for a large audience as well as in an effort to help them, and every other talented person out their to gain exposure. I see alot of wasted talent out their and they are not prospering from their efforts. look at you tube and you’ll see what i mean, lots of talent wasting away. I can change that, we can change that, and all can create an honest living by building on all the talent we see. My boys nearly landed a record deal with Columbia Records, the only thing that held them back was one of thier, no-longer, friends, a group member, ruined it because of greed. Any how, i hope that i can create a strong circle of a Mastermind group of likeminded associates and friends so that we can rock the world, no pun intended. God bless you all in your quest to reach millions. Peace.

This Post was very helpful to me. It taught me that I’m not trying to get
a bunch of,”friends”,I’m aiming to connect with the few who have things in common with me and I can eventually get their trust.

    Thanks,

    Paul
